Pantone has decreed Living Coral to be the color of the year. Poseidon the Greek god of the sea resided in a palace made of coral and designers have decorated with the color since ancient times. To create a dynamic and cohesive design in the monochromatic formal living areas, the designers varied textiles and textures.
